DESCRIPTION

We are pleased to announce the Host-Guest Zeolites workshop to be held on September 17 in Montpellier. This workshop aims:

  1. to share research results on zeolite-based nano-composite materials between colleagues involved in this research;

  2. to present these results more widely to colleagues interested in the field.

The workshop will focus on the study of host-guest zeolite materials, with particular emphasis on the interactions between porous structures (mainly zeolites) and inserted compounds (molecules, polymers, inorganic compounds), and the associated properties (thermal, mechanical, optical and electronic). Methods of synthesis, characterization at different length scales and modeling will be considered.

These topics - less developed than the traditional properties of zeolites (reactivity, adsorption) - are the subject of new research that the symposium also seeks to promote.

Program

The program is built around general presentations (40') and shorter presentations focusing on current research (20').

The program is available here.

Registration

Registration is free but mandatory for logistical reasons (maximum attendance 70).

Lunch will be provided (buffet). Please specify when registering if you are interested by the lunch.

Practical information

The conference will be held in the Balard amphitheatre on the CNRS campus in Montpellier. The campus is accessible by public transport: https://www.occitanie-est.cnrs.fr/sites/delegation_dr13/files/download-file/Plan_acces_CNRS_0.pdf
